The Cooperative Act 2074 and Cooperative Rules 2075 provide the legal framework for regulating and supervising cooperatives in the country.
A newly formed cooperative named "Manakamana Multipurpose Cooperative" was established in a rural district of Nepal to promote financial inclusion and agricultural development.
