a) Define Multiplexer. Explain the operation and truth table of 8:1 multiplexer. [2+6=8]

b) Explain the operation of CMOS as NOR gate with a diagram. [8]

a) Define Flip-Flop. Explain the operation of 'JK' Flip-Flop. [8]

b) Explain the operation of successive approximation analog to digital (ADC) conversion with a diagram. [8]

5.

a) Draw and explain the basic architecture 8085 microprocessor. [8]

b) Explain about the application of counter using digital clock. [8]

6. Write short notes on: (Any Four) [4x4=16]

(a) Ring counters.
(b) 14 segment display.
(c) EEPROM and EEROM.
(d) Shift Register.
(e) Encoder and Decoder.
