14. What is meant by order of reaction ? Derive the expression for integrated rate equation of first order reaction.  [1+4]

15. Standard reduction potentials of Mg2+/Mg and Cu2+/Cu are -2.37V and +0.34V, respectively.

a) Write the Galvanic cell notation indicating anode and cathode.    [1]
b) Calculate the standard emf of the cell.   [2]

19. An organic compound 'A' on ozonolysis gives a mixture of compounds B and C. Both B and C give positive DNP test. The molecular formula of B is C H O, which does not give Tollen's test. However, C has the same molecular formula and gives Tollen's test.

Identify the compounds A, B and C with their IUPAC names and relevant chemical reactions. [5]

An organic compound has the molecular formula C H O. Write its functional isomers with their IUPAC names. Write reactions to show the preparation of monohydric alcohol from alkyl halides, primary amines and esters. [2+3]
